Expedition Camp (Yosemite) – Week 3

This week-long overnight camp for high school aged campers is a great way to unplug and explore! Each day campers will explore a different area of Yosemite National Park, including the world famous Yosemite Valley and the high sierra landscape of Tuolumne Meadows.

Hiking, exploring, camping, games, campfires, ’smores, and stunning landscapes await. Caring and trained counselors will teach campers essential camping and outdoor skills that include basic camp craft, packing and preparation, map reading, cooking, and Leave No Trace principles. The skills and characteristics gained through this experience can be taken back home and applied to everyday life.

Camp includes transportation, knowledgeable camp staff, technical equipment, permits, and all meals. Campers are required to bring their personal items, clothing, eating utensils and lunch on Monday.

When does camp begin/end?

This camp meets Monday, 06/26/23 at 8:00 AM and ends Friday, 06/30/23 at 6:00 PM. Late drop-offs and early pick-ups are not available.

Where do I drop off/pick up my child?

Daily camp drop-off and pick-up is at Peak Adventures.  We’re located at Sac State, find us here.

What if my child is close to the age range?

Campers must be 13-16 years old by the first day of camp. If your child does not meet that requirement, please check out our Green & Gold or Explorer camps for other age ranges.
