Girl Scouts Snowshoeing – SU119

Event

Service Unit 119, join Peak Adventures for a fun-filled day of snowshoeing! Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to experience the mountains in winter. Bundle up in your snow clothes, strap on some provided snowshoes, and learn the ins-and-outs of safely hiking in the snow. Participants will meet at the Davis Girls Scout Cabin and transportation will be provided to the hike location.

Includes

Transportation, guides, and gear (Snowshoes and trekking poles) are provided. Please check the pre-trip checklist to ensure you are prepared with recommended clothing and essentials.

Location

Castle Peak, Tahoe. Location is subject to change due to weather or road closures. Transportation from Davis is provided by Peak Adventures. The meeting location is Davis Girl Scout Cabin at Slide Hill park 1520 Tulip Dr, Davis, CA 95616.

Pricing

$78/participant

This trip is only open to Girl Scouts and chaperones. Chaperones must pay the registration fee.  If a whole troop would like to register, please contact us, we can set up Private Trips for troops!
