Tahoe Explorer Camping
Ages 12-15
This week-long overnight camp for campers ages 12-15 is a great way to unplug and explore! Campers will camp on beautiful Lake Tahoe while taking daily excursions to Tahoe’s most iconic sites.

Caring and trained counselors will teach campers essential camping and outdoor skills that include basic camp craft, packing, and preparation, map reading, cooking, and Leave No Trace principles. The skills and characteristics gained through this experience can be taken back home and applied to everyday life.

Camp includes transportation, knowledgeable camp staff, technical equipment, permits, and all meals. Campers are required to bring their personal items and clothing.

When does camp begin/end?
This camp meets Monday, 07/11/22 at 8:00 AM and ends Friday, 07/15/22 at 5:00 PM. Late drop-offs and early pick-ups are not available.
Where do I drop off/pick up my child?
Daily camp drop-off and pick-up is at Peak Adventures. We’re located at California State University, Sacramento, find us here.
What if my child is close to the age range?
Campers must be 12-15 years old by the first day of camp. If your child does not meet that requirement, please check out our Green & Gold or Explorer camps for other age ranges.
What does my child need to bring to camp?
Additional Information
A minimum deposit of 50% per child, per camp is required for all registrations (non-refundable). Full payment is due 14 days prior to camp start.
Camps must have a minimum of eight campers for the program to run. No guarantees. You will receive a full refund for any cancelled camps.
