Relaxing

Designed to focus on the experiences and not the journey. Physical activity in these trips is voluntary and will be an excellent fit for most ability levels. No experience needed. Could experience mileage ranging from 1-3 miles, and little to no elevation change.

Light:

Designed for the novice adventurer looking to learn more about the outdoors. These trips will help you step out of your comfort zone, teaching you essential skills and how to conduct yourself in the outdoors. Light walking, hiking, or paddling is suitable for most fitness levels. No experience needed. Could experience mileage ranging from 1-5 miles, with elevation changes from 0’-500’ of gain.

Moderate:

Designed for seasoned explorers and daring novices. These trips offer slightly more advanced challenges for both beginners and experienced individuals. Participants may experience higher levels of exertion, but nothing too strenuous. No experience needed. Could experience mileage ranging from 5-15 miles, and elevation changes from 500’-1500’ of gain.

Strenuous:

These trips offer longer days, more miles, greater challenges, and higher exertion levels. Some strenuous activities, but accessible to most relatively active individuals. No experience is needed, but familiarity with the activity is beneficial. Could experience mileage ranging from 10-20 miles, and elevation changes of 1000’-2500’ of gain.
